Job location: Louisville, KY 40209 

Work week: Training on 1st Shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm + OT, Monday to Friday. Training time is varied but typically is 6 months or more. 

Pay: Starting pay is $24.78/hour. $0.75 shift differential if ever working an off shift. Once training is completed, you may be able to move into a Operator A position which comes with a raise of almost $4 an hour.

Education / Certifications:  High School Diploma or GED 

Required Experience: Must be mechanically inclined and self-motivated.

Preferred Experience: Experiences within a manufacturing environment or chemical environment. Working with filters, hoses, valves, etc. Coming out of the oil refinery industry could be a good fit. Coming out of a distillery environment as well. Experience working with automated control panels is a plus. 

Job Description: 

As a Production Operator at you will be part of our manufacturing teams who are safely producing our products in an environmentally responsible manner. This includes but is not limited to taking samples from our production lines, handling raw materials, filling our products into their different packages and handling waste materials. We will train you and teach you everything you need to know about the job, there is no prior experience needed. Are you willing and able to work in shifts and are you looking to learn and grow? In your team, you will be responsible for:

  • The safe operation of the unit, compliance with health requirements and protection of the environment 
  • Ensuring production of material meets strict Quality standards 
  • Preparing raw materials, charging the reactors  
  • Taking samples during the manufacturing process 
  • Pumping our final products into their packages (eg drums, tank wagons or others) 
  • Ensuring that all waste generated on shift is properly labeled and stored 
  • Required skills and experience 
  • We are looking for candidates who bring excellent communication skills to 
  • Assist in training our junior operators  
  • Work with team members and ensure team objectives are met 
  • Ensure efficient and accurate information transfer between different shifts

  • A forklift driver’s license is a plus

  • No higher education required  
  • Prior experience in (chemical) manufacturing is a plus
