Work week: 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am + OT, Monday to SundayIn ESL, until fully staffed they will be on a rotating schedule monthly. Days & Nights. Training time is varied but typically is 6 months or more. 

Pay: Starting pay is $24.05/hour + 3% bonus on an annual basis. Once training is completed, you may be able to move into another role. There are bumps in pay from moving from C, to B($27 an hour), to A ($33 an hour).

Education / Certifications:  High School Diploma or GED 

Required Experience: Must be mechanically inclined and self-motivated.

Preferred Experience: Experiences within a manufacturing environment or chemical environment. Working with filters, hoses, valves, etc. Coming out of the oil refinery industry could be a good fit. Coming out of a distillery environment as well. Experience working with automated control panels is a plus. 

Job Description: 

As a Production Operator at you will be part of our manufacturing teams who are safely producing our products in an environmentally responsible manner. You will join us in one of our control rooms and will be driving our production process through the use of our automated distribution control system (DCS). This includes but is not limited to charging raw materials to reactors remotely, monitoring key parameters of the chemical process like temperature and pressure, or giving instructions to field operators. In your team, you will be responsible for 

  •  The safe operation of the unit, compliance with health requirements and protection of the environment
  •  Ensuring production of material meets strict Quality standards
  •  Working together with Production Operators to manage the daily running of the production lines
  •  Charging and moving chemical products through the plant using the DCS
  •  Preventative measures to assure operating efficiency and equipment integrity
  •  Monitoring operations, recording data, and filling out work instructions
  •  Ensuring conformance to quality standards 

Required skills and experience

  •  Give instructions to our field operators (eg for sampling)
  •  Work with the supervisor to address issues
  •  Report production incidents & emergencies
  •  Assist in training our junior operators 
  •  Work with team members and ensure team objectives are met
  •  Ensure efficient and accurate information transfer between different shifts
