Starting salary is $140,000-$175,000 depending on experience + 15% annual bonus

Position overview

As the Global Tax Manager, you must be a self-starter who pro-actively owns your practice in full transparency, integrity and team alignment. 

This position requires a structured, yet pragmatic and flexible approach and regular re-evaluation of changing priorities in alignment with the Global Tax Director.


  • Identification, analysis and management of tax opportunities and risks and their global dependencies.
  • Monitoring and supporting to the income tax compliance processes performed by the regional finance team in conjunction with the preferred worldwide income tax compliance partner.
  • Support to the Tax Controller and the Regional Finance team with respect to the IAS 12 tax reporting process (including OTP second level review and sign-off); partnering with the transfer pricing and indirect tax team.
  • Material tax audits and litigation are monitored, supported, and managed as needed.
  • Tax planning and transactions
  • Management of external tax planning and compliance advisors.
  • Develop of some new training material would be expected and natural.

Required skills and experience

  • Strong exposure to the IAS12 accounting standard and related processes. Familiarity with global transfer pricing-related developments. Exposure to Brazilian and/or Mexican/Canadian tax laws is also a plus for potential employers in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
  • Ability and willingness to take a proactive role in regional tax matters as part of a cross-functional team, as well as mentor and develop the finance function in terms of tax compliance, reporting, and audit management.
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving & decision making skills; 
  • Analytical thinking combined with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Able to deliver results independently yet in team alignment in a high growth, fast-paced, multi-facility environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse organization.
  • Willingness to operate on a flexible schedule.


  • Degree in Accounting or law.
  • CPA/MBA/MS preferred.
  • At least 5-10 years tax experience, preferably in an in-house role with international exposure.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills and knowledge of financial/tax modeling..
