Job location: Miami, FL (candidate can live anywhere in the contiguous 48 and be flown to where the route starts)

Schedule: Request each candidate to be able to provide 20 days / month of availability

Salaried: $250,000 per year

Experience/Certifications Required: FAA ATP Certificate, B-767 Type rating, 3,000 hours minimum and meet the 121.411 CFR’s, hold a current FAA first class medical certificate

SUMMARY

The Supervisor Training Pilot is a management pilot that will deliver high-quality training and set the standard for pilots.  They will provide a mentoring example and promote resilience and airmanship where appropriate. During line operations, they will ensure safe and timely execution of all aspects of flight operations applying policies and standards defined by our manuals and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR’s).  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Maintain an adaptable and empathetic approach to instruction as required to ensure that the student has the best opportunity to succeed.  
• The training and evaluation of line pilots, and the conduct of Initial Operating Experience (IOE) of new and upgrading crewmembers  
• Set an example through personal performance and conduct as the standard within the pilot group
• Must be able to identify the crewmember’s ability to lead an organized briefing, lead the crew while utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM), and in the case of a Captain his or her ability to mentor the junior crewmembers in command and leadership.
• A complete understanding of Operating Specifications, Manuals, Forms, and OPT
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance and progress.
