*On the job training offered, typically 4 weeks of paid training. This is a full-time, permanent position. Climate controlled environment! No hot summers, no cold winters.

Sign On: $1,500 (paying $500 on first paycheck; $1,000 after 90 days of employment)

Shifts Available: All positions will expect OT

7:30am – 4:00pm – Monday through Friday + OT

3:45pm – 12:15am– Monday through Friday + OT ($0.50 shift differential)

Wage: $17 to $19 an hour depending on experience & shift.

Education / Certifications:  H.S. Diploma or GED required

Required Experience: Good work history and relatable experience. 

Preferred Experience: Previous manufacturing experience desiredPrevious Machine Operator experience will result in higher wage. 

Job duties could include some of the following depending on which machine you are trained for:

  • Identifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality Control immediately
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
  • Follows detailed instructions of all work orders
  • Responsible for recording jobs into computer with correct usage to maintain inventory
  • Identify equipment needing repair and notify supervisor/team lead
  • Understand, operates and troubleshoots the Brushfoil machine with accuracy
  • Responsible for waste variance
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
  • Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Determines dimensions of sheets to be cut from work order
  • Completes paperwork correctly for proper sheet count and to maintain inventory
  • Starts cutter and verifies size of cut material or notes accuracy cut on spots of pre-marked paperwork
  • Readjusts machine to ensure specified dimensions of sheets
  • Observes operation of machine to detect malfunctions such as jamming, wrinkling or tearing of material
  • Stops machine to make required adjustments, when necessary
  • Replaces worn cutting blades
  • Responsible for a visual inspection of product before it is used
