Salary:  $80-$105,000 + up to 10% bonus

Education / Certifications:  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering

Required Experience: 2+ years’ experience in engineering. 

Preferred Experience: Bearing and/or ball screw industry experience. Automotive experience. Industrial experience. SolidWorks experience.

Advanced Manufacturing Engineers who have experience developing turning & milling processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience with CNC equipment a must
• APQP, SPC, FMEA, & 8D Problem Solving experience a must
• Advanced knowledge of safety requirements
• Knowledge of Six Sigma Concepts preferred
• ERP experience, thorough understanding of setting up processes and BOM’s
• Familiarity with automotive specifications and GD&T
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel including customers & suppliers
• Experience in bearings, half shaft components and power steering components manufacturing a plus
• Experience working in a mass production environment with tight tolerances
• FANUC CNC and Okuma experience a plus
• Hands on experience using Solid works, AutoCAD, or inventor
