Starting salary is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. 


Shift availability: initially 8 hour rotating shifts, M-F. Potentially 12 hour rotating shifts, 24/7
Shifts: 1st shift 7:45AM-4:00PM, 2nd 3:45PM to 12 Midnight, 3rd 11:45PM to 8AM no weekends.

Position overview

As a Production Supervisor, you will coordinate duties of approximately ten (10) production operators. This shift will be supervising a night crew for 12 hours a night and will work an alternative schedule of 3 days in one week and 4 days in the next. Must be able to work every other weekend and train on day shift. These duties include improving safety, reducing costs, improving quality, maximizing the department's effectiveness through long term planning and project implementation, providing appropriate training and development, ensuring consistent roll out of plant policies & procedures, and maintaining open communications and positive employee relations. In this role, you will also drive continuous improvement within your team.


  • Organize and monitor all production activities within your area of focus
  • Implement manufacturing schedules and procedures, work with your team to maximize productivity
  • Analyze production records to identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Optimize production workflows, minimize disruption to manufacturing schedules
  • Minimize manufacturing cost, decrease waste output, keep high quality standards
  • Ensure a safe way of running the production lines and organize regular safety inspections 
  • Routine cleaning and regular maintenance in production lines, ensure good visual appearance
  • Collect data for production statistics and cost reduction
  • Actively support engineering activities to improve the efficiency, equipment and process
  • Keep confidentiality of the production arts and product formula
  • Cooperate closely with our maintenance team to maximize plant equipment availability

Required skills and experience

  • Familiar with key unit operations of fine chemical manufacturing, ideally in a leadership position
  • Production experience of coating resins is preferred
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Good Microsoft Office Knowledge
  • Good leadership
  • Eager to learn
  • Able to work under high pressure


  • 2-year Degree preferred. Work experience will be considered. 
  • Chemical background a plus
