Job Location: D.C. (Prince Georges County)

Work Setting: Remote – but we do have an office in Prince Georges County if desired. 

Compensation: $175,000 to $200,000 + bonuses

Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Desired Experience: 

  • 7-10 years of experience construction project management, with expertise in the D.C. region.
  • Proven experience in multifamily project management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP or relevant certifications are a plus.

Job Summary: As a Construction Project Executive, you will play a pivotal role in executing construction projects within the Washington D.C. region. Leveraging your expertise in the local subcontract and supply market, you will collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to ensure efficient project planning, procurement, and seamless construction management from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expertise:

  • Utilize direct knowledge and experience within the Delaware, Maryland and Virginia subcontract and supply markets to inform project decisions and buy trades.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, pricing, and resource availability.

Design Optimization:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze project designs and identify opportunities for value enhancement.
  • Offer constructability feedback to optimize project plans and specifications.

Bid Management:

  • Create comprehensive bid packages tailored to project requirements.
  • Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

Trade Procurement:

  • Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure alignment with project objectives while maintaining quality standards.

On-Site Oversight:

  • Provide on-site leadership and supervision to construction management teams and workforce.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, quality, and safety compliance.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Regularly report project status, budget updates, and any issues or risks to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies for project optimization and risk mitigation.
