Remote National Account Manager - Liquid Food Products

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior National Account Manager to join our team. This role primarily focuses on relationship management and growth with existing customers in the foodservice industry, with an emphasis on large accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-touchpoint engagement, project management, and effective communication of our value proposition at all organizational levels.

About the Company: One of the largest diversified suppliers to the foodservice industry. They currently service 150+ leading brands (125,000+ restaurants/stores) from their 50 locations on five continents. Their core businesses include: processing and distribution of liquid products, protein, produce, dairy and other services. 

Location and Travel:
This position is open for remote work, with a preference for candidates located in Michigan or Ohio, West Coast excluded. Central or Eastern time zones are preferred. The role requires 50% extended travel, mainly to customer sites in Ohio, Michigan, and possibly Louisville, with trips lasting 2-3 days.

Requirements:

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Project management experience in sales or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate the value proposition to all levels of the customer's organization.
  • Must have sauce-specific, liquid food products, or foodservice experience, excluding those from retail food accounts.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Existing remote work experience.
  • MBA.
  • Degree in food science or related field.
  • Passion for the work.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $150,000
  • Total on-target earnings with bonus: $200,000-225,000
