Role Overview: As the Senior EHS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs and initiatives.
Location: Conyers, GA
Compensation: Competitive salary around $125,000-150,000 annually, with a 7-10.5% annual bonus. Full benefits package included.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in EHS management in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven track record of building out safety programs and driving cultural change.
- Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to site EHS teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into manufacturing processes and facility design.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and promote continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
