Job location: Irvine, San Francisco, or Long Beach, CA
Work week: Salaried – Monday through Friday. Hybrid opportunity – must be able to come into the office time to time.
Travel: Local travel to Los Angeles area and San Francisco. Could be a marina in construction, a site visit to understand what the site looks like for example. Travel varies from project-to-project. Travel is expected but not constantly traveling all the time.

Education / Certifications: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
Required Experience: 3+ years in waterfront or shoreline or site civil or coastal engineering.
Preferred Experience: Master’s degree, Professional Engineer (P.E.), Project Management experience, CAD experience, geotechnical experience, previous field experience, dredging experience,

This position will support offices throughout the United States on projects throughout North America. The ideal candidate for this position will be located within commuting proximity to our Long Beach office; however, candidates in the Irvine and San Francisco, CA, areas are also encouraged to apply.
What’s the Opportunity?
A staff engineer with 3+ of experience with emphasis on supporting the design of civil infrastructure along the waterfront and in the marine environment. The staff engineer will work directly with senior engineers to contribute to the design of floating docks, launch ramps, piers, bulkheads, and related civil/structural features.
This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team, learn from senior waterfront civil/structural engineers, and develop into lead project engineer and project manager roles.
