This role is responsible for training customer end users on all product platforms and is responsible for the design and delivery of training courses. The Trainer’s responsibilities will include creating pro-active and responsive solutions to satisfy all training needs to include preparation and facilitation of training courses both live and on-line. The ideal candidate will be team oriented, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and have excellent communication skills.
This position will be based a remote based position in Ohio with a requirement to travel to customer sites as needed.
Develop, organize, implement and present all training documentation and materials to customer; ensure quality delivery (timely, accurate, error free, etc.)
Conduct live and online customer training sessions.
Provide onsite go live support.
Assist with tablet handout efforts and manage go live communication to Project Manager.
Actively communicate customer concerns and feedback to the appropriate departments including assigned regional PMO team.
Motivate attendees to participate and interact in all aspects of the course, including but not limited to discussions, hands-on activities, and assessments.
Assist with the configuration of products.
Coordinate and implement instructional material in an orderly and professional manner.
Deliver and gather course evaluation surveys for each training session to improve future trainings.
Interact closely with external customers; as well as internal personnel such as the Tech Support and Field Services teams, etc. to ensure all expectations and initiatives are met and exceeded.
Maintain historic and ongoing training profiles and reporting of internal/external users.
Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of equivalent years of experience, in lieu of degree.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a training role to include creation and delivery of training materials.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; demonstrated experience effectively presenting to large audiences.
Highly effective time and project management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to adapt trainings to user needs and requests.
Demonstrate ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working multiple projects and meeting competing deadlines.
Comfortable working in correctional facilities environment.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 75%.
Experience using Camtasia Studio, Adobe Captivate, or additional e-learning tool, a plus.
Detailed knowledge and experience using a variety of assessment tools and analyzing web and onsite trainings strongly preferred.
