Work week: Monday - Friday, 8AM to 5PM

Salaried: $24

Job Summary:

A Training Coordinator works with Human Resources and Management to identify training requirements and institutes plans for training new and existing employees. Additionally, a Training Coordinator has familiarity with instructional methods, coaching and skill development. They use these skills to support the rest of the team and ensure all employees are working efficiently and to company standards.

Job Duties:

  • Create training schedules for all departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
  • Recruit and train new Trainers, delegate training tasks to the new Trainers and evaluate performance.
  • Perform needs assessment on an entire organization level and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Review and analyze instructional effectiveness and prepare reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs
  • Develop written training modules for all process lines and equipment
  • Trains team members to safely and efficiently operate their lines and perform essential job duties
  • Performs time studies of operator tasks and help identify bottlenecks
  • Positively influences others, especially in regards to safety and operating discipline
  • Assists with administrative activities to monitor completion of training for all operators
  • Assists with on-boarding new employees, especially in regards to Safety Training and Orientation.
  • Manages Safe Fork Truck Operation program
  • Participates in validation of training deliverables for all production operators
  • Performs other job duties as necessary

Job Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in Manufacturing Technology, Education or a similar field preferred
  • Minimum five years industrial experience required, with a close familiarity with the process and equipment of the operation
  • Significant experience with learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Must possess strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent level of initiative and drive
  • Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
  • Must possess good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees and vendors
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Willingness to work as team member or independently
  • Must be committed to continuous improvement
