Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse department, including administrative and clerical functions, to ensure efficient operations and a safe working environment. Schedules employees, monitors employee activities, and equipment use to meet and exceed company objectives.

Salary: $65,000-80,000 salary

Job location: Burleson, Texas 

Work week: 10pm-7am – Sunday-Thursday

Required Experience: 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience

Essential Functions:

  • Plans, implements, and monitors the day-to-day operations for the Receiving/Shipping Department to ensure production and service from the department contributing to the plant’s overall performance. Executes the objectives set by the Warehouse Manager, Supply Chain and Safety.
  • Monitors all inbound and outbound Shipping/Receiving (Raw Materials, Packaging and Finished Goods) ensure all materials are in compliance. Monitors cycle counts of all raw materials, packaging, finished goods ensure all material shortages are communicated in advance. Makes appropriate decisions to ensure a steady supply of materials are on hand to service production. Monitors inventory levels for (DOH) ensuring compliance with HACCP, BRC and DOT regulations.  (25%)
  • Routinely informs and communicates with management on pending supply chains concerns, to ensure compliance to production schedule. Place a strong influence in FIFO, LIFO, Batch control, Allergen control, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.  (25%)
  • Monitors and completes numerous computer-based and manual reports and related paperwork, including, COA, DOH, Shortage, UKG Dimensions, daily logs, inventory control, damage reports, etc.  (10%)
  • Monitors product damage and audits routes to ensure reliable product delivery. Works on in hand with QA to ensure compliance of vendor delivers or quality concerns.  (5%)
  • Plans and schedules manpower occurring to plan budget. Executes to receiving schedule and production schedule.  (5%)
  • Plans and coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reports.  (5%)
  • Adheres to food safety, quality and legal compliance.  In the event of a crisis (i.e. product recall, fire, etc.) delegate responsibilities as outlined in the Crisis Communications and Management Guide.
  • Adheres to safety, health and environmental standards of the facility.
  • Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
